Narrative Study: The Life of Influencers between Hobbies and Professions

Abstract

This paper further elaborates on the impact of Youtuber as a social media Influencer on its subscribers. The design of this study uses a narrative method to get a detailed and comprehensive picture of Michael Souw's role as an Influencer that influences his followers. The narrative method was chosen to find out Michael Souw's journey as a content creator and how Michael Souw in developing this new profession is a source of income that has economic value for him.Based on the results of analysis in the previous chapter, the conclusion in this study is that there are some things that can be known about what Michael Souw did in influencing his subscribers. In the creation of Michael Souw, attention to the latest trends and try to put in his work. In addition, Michael Souw also strives to continue to be the first uploader for certain content.
