EXPERIMENTAL INVESTIGATION ON MECHANICAL PROPERTIES OF SELF CONSOLIDATING CONCRETE WITH HYBRID FIBRE REINFORCED CONCRETE
Abstract
From this paper, precast building components are developed by fibre-reinforced self-compacting concretes by adding polymeric synthetic slipping fibre, and also to obtain the mechanical properties of self-compacting fibre, polypropylene and steel fibre. To attain the workability, mechanical properties, proportions were identified by initiation tests on self-compacting materials with several compositions of polypropylene and steel fibres. On conducting the test, it has been conformed the good contribution of improving the mechanical properties of self-compacting concrete. The difference between the self-compacting concrete and the self-compacting polypropylene and the steel fiber with similar mechanical properties showed a better possible binding of the mixture with the self-compacting types. The results have been produced for the mechanical properties of the self-compacting concrete, polypropylene and steel fibre.
