An Efficient Hybrid 3D Localization Using rssi and aoa measurements

Abstract

In this paper, the existing solutions to target localization in WSN using hybrid localization technique i.e RSS and AOA is considered. Recently, the issue of target location based on RSS-AOA has become very common in research community, because of its great potential for its application and economically feasible for implementation. So, a Probabilistic approach for RSS-AOA based 3D localization is provided using Wi-Fi access points. The algorithm has a hardware system for position estimation. In addition, the performance characteristic is estimated with RSSI finger printing, LS and WLS in Line of Sight environment.
