How Technology has Improved Forensic Fingerprint Identification to Solve Crimes
Abstract
Fingerprint analysis has been used for a very long at crime scenes to convict perpetrators. Since fingerprinting began to be used, the manual system has been used over time. However, as the population continues to grow the crime rate has gone high leading to a high set of databases. This makes the manual system of fingerprint identification irrelevant. However, with the increased technological advancements, this problem can be systematically reduced. Technology has proved to be accurate and efficient in fingerprint identification. This article reviews the grounded data to find out how technology can be used to help in fingerprint identification and speed the process of solving crimes.
