Abstract

This study aims to determine the extent to which the use of Village Funds has an impact on increasing income, reducing gender inequality and poverty. Using Mediation Regression Analysis with the Step Cause Method, Sobel mediation test, and the use of time series data, for the period 2010-2018, research findings show that village funds are good for infrastructure development and empowerment, have a significant impact on increasing income, reducing gender inequality and poverty, but the contribution is still very low. On the other hand, the construction of micro and small businesses, hospitals, and health empowerment, serves as a mediator to achieve the target of increasing expenditure per capita, reducing poverty. which contributes more, compared to the target without a mediator.
