IMPLICATURE OF CHARACTER REINFORCEMENT IN INDONESIAN LANGUAGE LEARNING AT VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL (SMK) BANYUMAS, CENTRAL JAVA, INDONESIA
Abstract
The phenomenon of character degradation in the Banyumas region has bring up to the assumption of a lack of character reinforcement in schools. Therefore, is indispensable implicatur (insertion) of character reinforcement in each lesson. Lesson other than religion which are considered to be very strategic for the insertion of character reinforcement are Indonesian lesson. The problem that then arises is how the imply of character reinforcement in Indonesian language learning in SMK Banyumas. This research was conducted at SMK in the Banyumas district, Central Java, Indonesia. The approach used is a qualitative descriptive approach. The data of this study are the saying of teachers and students in learning Indonesian in SMK Banyumas. The data source of this research are teachers and students in learning Indonesian in SMK Banyumas. Data collection was carried out with observation technique and assisted with video shoting. Data analysis was performed using content analysis techniques. The results of the data analysis concluded that implicature for reinforcement character in Indonesian language learning in SMK Banyumas mostly occurred implicitly and a small portion occurred explicitly. Reinforcemented character forms covers religious, nationalist, independent, mutual cooperation, and integrity. The most reinforced character is the religious character.
