Abstract

The wireless sensor network involves a large number of sensor nodes that can detect and transfer data to the base station (BS).Cluster is a way of dividing sensor nodes within the network as multiple groups. Cluster creation is based on data needed within the network topology in certain area, and cluster head is chosen by node availability within the cluster. In particular, there is one head in the cluster who serves as a leader and responsible for collecting data from all nodes and then spreading it to BS. This paper focuses on several cluster heads to optimize the capacity of batteries and prolong network life.Energy requirement plays a major role in this process to perform the node task. Our idea in this paper is to decrease the cluster head task by transacting data with some other cluster head and optimizing battery life.
