The Prospect of the Digitization of Agricultural Enterprises in Terms of Ensuring Their Competitiveness for Management Purposes

Abstract

The features of digitalization influence on the functioning of agricultural enterprises are studied in the paper. The evolution of technological processes in agriculture is analyzed and the influence of digitalization on the formation and development of the modern technological method of agricultural production is revealed. Each subsequent stage in the development of agrarian production was marked by a significant accumulation of discoveries, not only in the agrarian sector but also in the economy as a whole, in technology and society. The permanent impact of digital technology on the functioning of agricultural enterprises is closely connected with the fifth technological revolution. The technological factors that should be given special attention during the technological modernization of agricultural enterprises are outlined in the paper.
