Profitability Analysis of Digitalization of Precision Farming

Abstract

The article contains the results of the study of the state of development of electronic agriculture on the example of the analysis of existing approaches to information support in the agricultural sector and the modular structure of known information systems and platforms. A conceptual model of e-agriculture has been developed and the main areas of ICT that can be implemented in the agricultural sector are identified. The proposed information model reflects the essence of the concept of two mirrors and the interconnection of the information environment at the macro, mezzo and micro levels. The integrated vision of e-agriculture is based on the general concept of information formation environment according to the “two-mirror concept”, which provides for the formation of forecast values and knowledge bases for the development of the agricultural sector, its strategy, operational and tactical work, technological and management processes and monitoring (reflection) of the results, followed by a comparison with the expected results.
