Abstract

This paper seeks to sharpen the concept of Particle Swarm Optimization algorithm used in Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs). Since WSNs is the collection of numbers of Sensor Nodes which can be literally used in various real time applications in target area, for instance, in military, public safety, for industrial and vibration monitoring etc. Many fault tolerance, power management and routing protocols have been particularly used for energy awareness issue. To perform enhanced routing PSO algorithm is used. Here, Sensor nodes are clustered based on some criteria .Those Sensor nodes are gathers data at each Cluster Head (CH). This helps in avoiding transaction of redundant data to the base station. Mobile Sink is used for routing required data from various sensors within coverage are out of coverage. Firstly, PSO-PSO-WSN is compared with other incorporated algorithms to route data efficiently to the required destination. These methods are used to analyze terms of efficient energy consumed ,life of the cluster head, packet sent, dead nodes to performance evaluator which determines the delay in packet transmission between source and destination. The simulation outcome proves that this model can perform enhanced routing using PSO algorithm.
