THE IMPACT OF TOTAL INVESTMENT, REAL EXPORT AND GOVERNMENT SPENDING ON ECONOMIC GROWTH OF PAKISTAN
Abstract
This research work explores the impact of Total Investment, Real Export and Government Spending on Economic Growth of Pakistan in the light of 17 years data, for the period of 2001 to 2017. This research was secondary data based, and multiple linear regression analysis was used to analyze the data. Econometric model was used for analysis consisted of Economic Growth (real GDP) as dependent variable while the independent variables were Total Investment, Real Export and Government Spending. Data was taken for these variables from the website of State Bank of Pakistan .The study found that there is significant impact of Total Investment, Real Export and Government Spending on GDP. In case of developing countries like Pakistan high value of Total Investment, Real Export and Government Spending should be maintained because results show that there is significant and positive impact of Total Investment, Real Export and Government Spending with GDP.
