Abstract

This paper gives the design and matlab model of Photovoltaic (PV) grid connected inverters. The solar panel inverters convert DC output of a PV panels into a variable frequency alternating current (AC) that can be fed into a domestic and industrial load. In this paper we are using a H-bridge inverter which consists of only four switches and a capacitor and a small filter at the output stage. H-Bridge Inverter is in step down -mode converter that requires an input voltage of greater than the designed output voltage. So that we are using, a boost converter to be applied in the first stage of inverter to increase the PV voltage to meet the desired level. In the proposed project we will be using several different filters to obtain a better voltage output waveform by simulation.  Simulations are verified    using MATLAB.
