Design and Development of M-Learning Framework Based on Learning Management System Architecture

Abstract

         In recent year, Mobile Learning (M-Learning) play a prominent role in the field of education. M-Learning has invaded the E-learning and traditional learning method. This M-Learning is a highly supportive platform for learners to learn any content from anywhere without restriction.  In this paper, we proposed a learner centered approach for the learners and push notification for new updates. The M-Learning framework is designed as a virtual learning center and integrated an open-source tool for communication. The framework is developed and tested in the Android platform due to its scalability and versatility. The M-Learning is also integrated with the Learning Management System (LMS) for the back end server through a service-oriented architecture. The Proposed model provides an enhanced learning experience to the learners in all perceptive learning contexts.
