Abstract

Mineral additives are often used as a substitute for cement in high performance concrete (HPC). Although many researchers have studied the effects of mineral additives on the rheological properties of the mechanical behavior of HPC, more research is needed to optimize the effective dosage of these additives in high performance concrete (HPC).This article discusses the effects of silica smoke, quartz powder and alccofin on the properties of both state of concrete. For this purpose, silica dust and Alccofin powder are used as a cement substitute. The replacement of Alccofin varies between 5% and 15%.Parameters such as compressive, breakingand bending strength were examined. The result of the developmental study shows that the inclusion of quartz dust and Alccofin develops the mechanical properties of normal concrete.
