DIGITAL TEACHING MATERIALS FOR INDONESIAN SCIENTIFIC WRITING TEACHING IN COLLEGE

Abstract

This research discusses the need for scientific writing materials based on digital or E-books in universities. The study was conducted at the Muhammadiyah University Jakarta, Undergraduate Education Indonesian Language Study Program. Based on the results of observations, interviews, and monitoring developments in the study area, researchers found a problem that is printed teaching materials that are not up to date, so that it affects the learning outcomes of students in writing scientific papers. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The purpose of this research is to identify the need for teaching materials in Indonesian scientific writing that is suitable for the needs of lecturers and students in the Indonesian language study program at the University of Muhammadiyah Jakarta, as well as knowing the advantages and disadvantages of teaching materials in order to get solutions to the constraints of the learning and learning process in writing works scientific in this technological era.
