Abstract

This project deploys a method to implement technology to help cure children with speech disorders using a voice recognition puzzle, which in turn will increase accessibility to everyone and will also be easy on the pocket. A collection of words and sounds which are known to help with therapeutic purposes have been chosen and have been divided into different difficulty levels based on the effort needed for pronunciation of the words. These levels are unlocked as the user progresses with the game. A word will be displayed on the screen followed by the pronunciation of the word. The user will then try to repeat the word so as to match the actual pronunciation of the word. The percentage match in the word is used in an interactive manner to show the progress to keep the user engaged and motivated. Sudoku will be used in this system. This project is mainly targeted for users of the age seven and above and users undergoing treatment after a TBI (Traumatic Brain Injuries)
