Planning Model of Population Education and Environment in State Elementary School in District of Simalungun Regency
Abstract
The education of population and Environment as an educational program to nurture the students to have rational attitudes and behaviors and responsible for maintaining the balance of the environmental system. The purpose of this research is the creation of students ' responsibilities and the learning model of population and environmental education in elementary school students, who will form students ' attitudes and behaviors on actions that are appropriate to Environmental concept and the establishment of an alternative development of environmental population education in the District of Raya. The results of the study show that the environmental and student behaviour of the learners positively and significantly affects the students ' responsibilities in the school environment. The environmental and student behavior attitudes are positive and significant to the responsibilities of students in the school environment. The model of population education and the environment applied in the district of Raya is a discussion model, through a learning model with a student discussion will learn how to convey an idea to others and teach students about how to respect disagreements.
