Abstract

In modern days, identifying the skin cancer  at  early state will improve in curing the tumour and it became a challenging task for the  dermatologists and clinicians. This paper deals with the diagnosis of  skin cancer detection technique that classifies the cancer as normal, benign or malignant. The proposed model includes three stages like Segmentation, Feature Extraction, and Classification. Segmenting the skin lesion  using Modified FLICM. Here the features are obtained from the segmentation process using Local Vector Pattern (LVP)  and Local Binary Pattern (LBP). The Fuzzy classifier gives the  output as the nature of the image. The limits of membership F functions in Fuzzy classifier are varing  Hybrid (PSOGWO) Optimization Algorithm.
