Abstract

Background: Preeclampsia (PE) is a foremost cause of maternal and perinatal morbidity. Clinicians suggests that early identification and management of PE could reduce high-risk pregnancies. However, at present there is disagreement regarding reliable screening approach to identify PE during pregnancy. Objective: To measure urinary calcium, and calcium creatinine ratio (CCR) and assess its utility in prediction of pre-eclampsia.
