Abstract

Finger nail image analysis is used as a trait for authentication in bio-metric systems and nail abnormalities are used as clues for systemic disease in bio-medicine Nail segmentation is still challenge in research when the nail has abnormalities. In this paper, presents a novel Graph based Threshhistomatch Segmentation (GTHM) algorithm is to discover a disease portions efficiently with assist of image preprocessing and skin detection technique. In this paper mainly focused on novel segmentation algorithm of Graph based Threshhistomatch (GTHM) Segmentation process are segment the disease portions and figured out. The proposed GTHM method uses special key pointers features in threshold histomatch segmentation to find out the disease locations effectively. The experimental results shows the performance evaluation compared with existing K-Means, Otsu and the proposed GTHM yields better accuracy.
