Abstract

The Cloud computing is spreading its growth everywhere as demand for various services of cloud is potentially increasing. The cloud service models can be classified as Public Cloud, Private Cloud and Hybrid Cloud. Each model has different needs .Organizations deploys these models to suit their user’s demands and provides the end-user with a wide range of options. Ensuring data privacy is a mandatory requirement for the cloud service providers. Being the data available to user’s whenever they need is highly critical. Among the service models, Hybrid cloud is more advantageous as it is a combination of Public and Private Cloud models. Hybrid cloud is particularly valuable for dynamic or highly changeable workloads. Being the combination of Public and Private Clouds, it is highly mandatory to enforce strong security for data protection. This paper discusses a Cipher model to secure user’s data in Public Cloud part of Hybrid Cloud where applications and storage services are provided to the general public over Internet.
