  • Abd. Madjid

Abstract

This article focuses on issues concerning the authority possessed by the Anti Graft Commission's Supervisory Board in tapping corruption acts given by Law 19/2019 concerning the Second Amendment to Law 3/2002 concerning the Anti Graft Commission. This paper uses the normative juridical research method with the statutory approach and conceptual approach. The Supervisory Board's authority to grant wiretapping permission to the Anti Graft Commission is an attribute of authority that has been given directly by law and Legally by Regulated Power in its character. Nevertheless, independence and neutrality of the Supervisory Board are still needed so that they are able to maintain the confidentiality of a corruption case that is being carried out by the Anti Graft Commission's law enforcement process.
