An Efficient Data Encryption and Decryption In Cloud Computing

Abstract

The term security means to immune the asset against any type of attack. In this paper, the major work is done to encrypt the data. For efficient data encryption a hybrid method had been proposed combining the RSA algorithm with elgmal scheme. The proposed method provides an efficient security as dual encryption is done and the mathematical operations done to store encrypt data is only stored on cloud. Any attack on data would not decrypt the data as dual encryption is done on data. This scheme is very efficient for high amount of data as performance of algorithm least degrade in terms of encryption and decryption time. The proposed method surpasses various existing methods and proves its usefulness.
