Utilizing Phase Change Material as a Cooling Storage System in a Solar Powered Air Conditioning System

Abstract

The interdependency of increasing energy demand and diminishing fossil fuels reserve has encouraged the exploration of alternate source of natural energy, such as solar energy, wind energy or geothermal energy. For the purpose of creating green environment, this paper not only investigate the feasibility of using solar power as air conditioner system but also analyze the feasibility of using phase change material as a cooling storage system in a solar powered air conditioning system.
