CONTEXTUAL DISCOURSE ON THE BANNERS OF LAKA UNIT COMMUNITY SERVICE THE POLRES BOGOR ITS RELEVANCE AS TEACHING MATERIALS IN HIGH SCHOOLS

Abstract

This research aims is describing and explaining contextual aspect analysis, and the relevance of the Public Service Annoucement (PSA) as teaching material for high school students. This research is qualitative descriptive. The conclusion of this study are as follows: Firstly, the analysis of contextual aspect of the script shows there are three principles that can be used to comprehend the Public Service Annoucement (PSA) script, that is the personal interpretation principle, the locational interpretation principle, and analogy principle. Secondly, this approves that the Public Service Annoucement (PSA) script of unit Laka Polres Bogor to be a potential teaching and learning substance in High School.
