GREEN OPEN SPACE ZONATION OF URBAN AREA IN THE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS PERSPECTIVE

Abstract

Fresh air produced by nature, the presence of green open space is expected by every generation. Green open space that has many benefits is one solution to create clean and healthy air. Law Number 26 of 2007 concerning Spatial Planning regulates that 30% of the urban area must be in the form of Green Open Space (GOS / RTH) consisting of 20% public and 10% private. The importance of Green Open Space (RTH) is caused by the function of carrying capacity of the environment to the economic growth that can be generated from Green Open Space (RTH) for environmental preservation and in particular maintaining the carrying capacity of the environment which is strengthened by the rule of law. Many breakthroughs can be used to preserve the environment through the application of norms, the implementation of spatial planning, especially Green Open Space (RTH) in urban areas to be directed to the sustainable development. The overall solutions offered are based on the values of the concept of human resources based on environmental law by stand to the principles of Sustainable Development (Sustainable Development), by adopting the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) are expected to become a solution to overcome environmental problems.
