Abstract
Iron deficiency (ID) is recognized as a common comorbid condition in patients with chronic heart failure (CHF). A therapeutic drug, which increases hemoglobin (Hb) concentrations in these patients, may be of importance. But it is not proven whether intravenous iron therapy alone is effective for ID anemia associated with CHF
