THE LEGAL ANALYSIS OF USE ONLINE MEDIA TOWARDS DOCTOR CONSULTATION IN INDONESIA

Abstract

 Advances in technology, communication and the internet now make community activities easier and faster. Online system provides changes in buying goods, ordering transportation, food to consulting a doctor is also done online. This study aims to examine the legal aspects of consulting a doctor through online media in Indonesia, and the limitations of the consultation. The method used is a normative juridical method, using secondary data in the form of books, articles and related legislation, the data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative. The results of the study are (1). The public consults with doctors through online media by providing actual information about the history of certain drug use diseases and doctors giving opinions according to this information & the code of ethics of medical practice; (2). Consultation of doctors through online media is subject to the Technology & Information Act, the Health Act, the Medical Practice Act, the Consumer Protection Act.
