Abstract

The behavior of steel fiber recycled coarse aggregate reinforced concrete (SFRCA) subjected to direct shear was investigated by this study. The results of twenty four push-off reinforced concrete specimens are presented and analyzed. The studied parameters are the steel fiber volume fraction (Vf ) and the recycled coarse aggregate replacement ratio (RCA). Three steel fiber volume fractions are used (0%, 0.5%, and 1%) and four RCA replacement ratios are used ( 0% , 25% , 50% , and 100% ). The test results show that the steel fiber is an effective alternative material for enhancement of the shear strength of recycled coarse aggregate concrete.
