Knowledge Management - An enabler for active Ergonomics for improved employee performance in IT Sector
Abstract
The progression from 1960”s to the 1980s has seen the introduction of computers, to digital computers by giving an edge over workers by using conventional methods. Growth and technical adaptation has also made the organisation to think of consumers as pro consumers who are more educated and demand more. Pro consumers go a further step to provide their demands in the design of products and services. This has necessitated sharing of knowledge aided by technology and also by re-engineering their system and knowledge drain. Knowledge Management has thus taken the central place for the survival of the organisations, which is supported by technology as the backbone and human components to utilise the facilities, services and knowledge created.
