Abstract

 Good health is an necessary pre-requisite which contribute significantly both to the perfection in labour productivity  human resource development. Health care is widely recognized to be a public good with strong positive externalities. common access, of an adequate level of care, with equitable distribution of financial costs, cost efficient use the results of relevant explore and special attention to weak groups such as children, women, disabled and the aged is a key component of a modern civilized society. The role of female is very significant in reflecting  health of the community. According to the World Health Organization,” women health promotes  health of the family”. The health service to the women enables them to free from morbidity and mortality. The perfection in women health contributes to the local economy and welfare of the public. The health is a complex factor of socio economic and environmental factors. In this context the present study concentrates  Rural female of Maternity health care  and health status in Salem District.
