Abstract

The growing technological era provides technology in cheaper rate for the easy access and usage. With the help of video cameras and other technology we can easily record the actions of the human being to classify them. Identification of a person is more important in the crime sector. The ways of identifying a person has been a challenging role in the current scenario. Soft computing supports the crime department in many ways based on the deep learning technique and gait analysis technique. Gait analysis is one of the strategies in identifying a person without the knowledge of the person and deep learning helps the system in decision making with the help of the processing data and the available patters.  CNN – Convolutional Neural Network plays the major role in the deep learning technique to form the basic pattern in identifying the person. The classification accuracy varies based on the neural network pattern framed for the training of the data set. This paper deals with the concepts of deep learning technique, deep learning – CNN, gait analysis and the possible ways of implementing deep learning in gait analysis to identify the person.
