Smart Solutions Based-On Cloud Computing and Wireless Sensing

Abstract

The integration between the Information and CommunicationTechnologies hasshifted the benefits as combined capabilities to a new domain, where the systems are automated and smart enough to provide the capabilities of real-time decision-making or alerting. The outputs of the smartness of these integrated matured IT-Technology solutions has made human life more comfortable, secure with optimum benefits and less workloads and costs. Contextualized within the variety of integration between the different mature-developed IT solution developments of IT technologies, this paper aims to propose an alternative of integration, namely the integration between the power of Wireless Sensors Networks (WSNs) and cloud computing to develop secure-trusted smart solution. For this purpose, this paper discusses e existing work related to the cloud computing capabilities of data processing and data storage, highlighted the issues and limitations of the various related work. Drawn from this discussion, a conceptual system is proposed. The design of this system demonstrates the importance of integrating WSNs with Cloud computing to develop smart IoT solutions in recent diverse fields and domains of the human daily life activities. Wireless Sensors can be distributed spatially to monitor human health conditions utilized for different ranges of applications. These wireless sensors are empowered recently with the advancements of enhanced scalabilities for processing and storage.
