Abstract

Allergy is a hypersensitivity disorder of the immune system of the human body. Allergic reactions occur when a person’s immune system reacts abnormally to normally harmless substances, present in the environment. A substance that causes a reaction is called an allergen. Allergy is formally called type I (or immediate) hypersensitivity and is one of the forms of hypersensitivity. The variety of food habits and the unawareness in the nature of the food creates the allergy which can be simple itching to even cause death. The study and research in Molecular Allergology is given less importance in India. Hence precise diagnostic mechanism and its healing intervention are deficient. To overcome it, a system consists of monitoring module, data acquisition and processing module and optimization module is implemented to detect the pollutants and determine the threshold values in the desired location. The optimization technique employed in this work is Ant Colony Optimization which possesses parallelism intrinsically. ACO is adapting positive feedback mechanism inspired from real ants secreting pheromone when finding their food. Prompt discovery of optimized solutions is achieved with ACO efficiently.
