Implementation of expert methodology for optimal reconfiguration in electrical distribution system to minimize I2R Losses

Abstract

This paper attempts to achieve optimal reconfiguration in the radial distribution system which involves sequential steps to analyze the distribution system with the help of heuristic technique, thereby drawing better configuration with minimal I2R losses which is applied for 33-Bus and 69-bus system and the obtained results are validated. The results are obtained for both the test systems through MATLAB-2014a.
