EODB - A SYNOPSIS OF PRE AND POST MAKE IN INDIA INITIATIVE

Abstract

Ease if Doing Business (EODB) means that the legal and supportive environment is investor friendly and
accelerates the promotion of new business in an economy. The global EODB index developed by World
Bank ranks countries on various components of EODB and rank them accordingly. The economies
worldwide have taken significant measures both at small and large level to create a conducive
environment for doing business in India. This paper aims to study the progression of EODB index
rankings of India pre and post make in India initiative.
