Teaching Factory Learning Model on Office Administration Program in Referred Vocational High Schools

Abstract

The research aims to develop a learning model, hence reducing any gap in the performance criteria required by the working world by the means of vocational graduate quality, especially graduates of office and secretary  administration program. The method used was research and development. Data were collected by questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed descriptively and validated by the source triangulation. By this research, we made the hypothetical Teaching Factory (TEFA) learning model. Meanwhile, the implication is that the model shall be experimented and socialized to find solutions to improve the graduate quality and increase the number of ready-to-work vocational graduates.
