Design Of Defected Ground Quad-Band Bandpass Filter

  • Reena Pant

Abstract

A miniaturized band-pass filter (BPF) using defected ground structure is designed and developed for wireless application. The simulated structure resonates at 1.04 GHz, 1.84 GHz, 3.04 GHz, and 3.59 GHz. Position of centre slot is changed to optimize filter performance and minimize its dimensions. New passbands are 0.99 GHz, 1.81 GHz, 2.99 GHz, and 3.53 GHz.
