A Conical-Probe Feed Wideband Microstrip Patch Antenna
Abstract
This paper is reported on wide bandwidth conical shaped probe-fed microstrip patch antennas. Experimental and theoretical results for different length and diameters of conical-probe are presented here. The air gap between probe and patch is found to have significant effects on the resonant input resistance and bandwidth.
