A Study on Fuzzy Expert System Decision Making to Predict Dosage of Anesthesia

Abstract

Fuzzy logic deals with concepts that are vague and imprecise. It refers to a group of many valued logics. This paper deals how the fuzzy logic system helps obstetric anesthetics to design a dosage form of anesthesia for caesarian section according to the body mass index, metabolic rate, vital functions and other significant factors of the pregnant woman. It also gives a comparison between human decision making and fuzzy logic system for the effectiveness of the treatment.
