Abstract

Studies have been conducted on the deposition of impurities from solutions from leaching of titanium sludge from lime milk. The optimal parameters for the neutralization of solutions are determined. Studies have been carried out on the crystallization of calcium nitrate from purified saturated solutions. The influence of the main factors on the crystallization of calcium nitrate is considered and their optimal parameters are established. Crystals of calcium nitrate were obtained by evaporation of a purified solution with a pH value of 8 from sludge leaching with the addition of 5% ammonium nitrate to it by weight of Ca(NO3)2. Anhydrous calcium nitrate was obtained by granulation of 92-95% melt in the form of flakes, at a surface temperature of the granulator plate 90 °C
