Leveraging Web-based learning in HEI: An evaluation of learners' perspective

Abstract

Traditional learning is slowly paving way in most institutions of higher learning as we can now begin to witness the flexibility being integrated in their learning mode. In other to provide more efficient and interactive learning, various researches have been conducted to provide an enabling flexible mode of learning that will stir up not only the quality of education but also motivate learner’s interest. In recent times, web based learning seems to be such flexible, efficient and motivational learning mode that could stand the test of time. This research is based on assessing the leverage of web based learning in HEI from the aspect of the learners whom happens to be main stake holders in its usage. In conducting this research, twenty learners were randomly selected and expose to an oral semi-structured interview section as means of gathering information from them on web based learning. Data collected was qualitatively analysis and the results were used to provide findings to this study.
