Designing an IoT-Based Smart Ambulance Platform in Cimahi City
Abstract
The current ambulance is managed by conventional methods that are less efficient in helping the people of Cimahi city. The ambulance is governed by each village so that if other residents are using an ambulance. The queue cannot be transferred to another ambulance belonging to another village whose area is close. This causes the people who need this service in an emergency not to be served optimally. This paper proposes an IoT-based smart ambulance platform which includes IoT devices, service-oriented architecture, and an Android-based interface to maximize quick ambulance services. It is expected that with this platform, the management of ambulance alerts can reach all people who need help without being limited by the limitations of the village.
