Abstract

This study investigates the relationship between supply chain management strategy, supply chain management practices, and their impact on supply chain performance in the Malaysian manufacturing sector. Data were collected באמצעות a structured questionnaire from 200 managers across functional areas such as purchasing, production, logistics, transportation, and operations. Using convenience sampling, a response rate of 62% was achieved, with 51% usable responses for analysis. Statistical techniques including mean, standard deviation, and correlation analysis were applied to examine relationships among variables. Reliability and validity tests ensured data consistency, while multiple regression analysis was used to assess the predictive influence of supply chain strategy and practices on performance. The findings indicate that supply chain management practices have a significant positive effect on supply chain performance. In contrast, supply chain management strategy was found to be a weak predictor of performance outcomes. The results highlight the importance of effective implementation of supply chain practices in improving organizational performance.
