Reliability Estimation of a Hybrid Geothermal Conventional Power Plant by Using Algebra of Logic
Abstract
In this paper, we have tried to evaluate some reliability parameters of a hybrid geothermal conventional power plant. Algebra of logic and Boolean function technique has been used to achieve this goal. This technique avoids the tedious and time consuming calculations. To obtain better results, parallel and standby redundancies have been applied. The reliability and MTTF of the system have been computed when failures follow Weibull time and exponential distribution. It is observed that exponential time distribution gives better results as compared with the weibull time distribution.
