An analysis of medical diagnosis using Intuitionistic Fuzzy set and its operators.

Abstract

Fuzzy set is the extension of crisp sets and it deals with the degrees of membership function. The membership function valued in the unit interval [0, 1]. Out of several higher order fuzzy sets, intuitionistic fuzzy are highly used to deal with imprecise or vagueness. The membership and non-membership function are not possible for all the cases and since hesitation margin plays an important role in decision making, mainly in the case of medical diagnosis there is a fair chance of a non-zero hesitation part and the operators are used. In this paper we are going to find the disease of patient with symptoms using this operator in the data.
