Abstract

In a car, weight is a significant and contributing component in enhancing ride conditions. The leaf spring alone supports around ten to twenty percent of the system's weight. In addition to additional benefits such as good corrosion resistance, higher fatigue strength, and high specific strain energy storage capacity, composite materials provide a high strength to weight ratio with progressively falling travel costs.

Because of their light weight and exceptional strength, composite materials have piqued the interest of all researchers. Automobiles must be made more fuel efficient, according to today's manufacturing businesses. In light of this, we created a glass epoxy mono composite leaf spring. When compared to a steel leaf spring, this mono composite leaf spring will save 77 percent of the weight. This article includes statistical computations and FEA analysis. In particular, advance polymer composite.
