Abstract

We are living in the difficult times, when people are aware of their rights and tend to neglect their own responsibilities. We are inhabiting the days when ethics are not considered to be normal. In the today’s complex world, the human beings are busier creating virtual worlds on social media. Pubg and Minecraft are the worlds that fascinate young generation more than the real world with its real issues as well as issues with its realities. When this world is inhabited by its first robotic citizen ‘Sophia ‘and we can choose allowing birth to the ones in the womb, the pursuance and application of ethics is more urgent. In this paper, we are trying to explore the intersection of Disabilities and Hindu Bio-ethics. We are going to perceive that the cyclic world view of Indian culture wherein human can be born as an insect or tree invigorates the acceptability of Disability. The post-modern world has made accessible prenatal testing to one and all and thus scribbled the fate of genetically disabled, thus putting a challenge on to the Hindu ethics.
