A Study of Copy Move Forgery Detection in Digital Images Using Hybrid Technique
Abstract
In view of scientific advancement and emergence in digital technology, authenticity of images is a challenge. Consequently, this has led to emergence of different detection techniques to authenticate images. Copy move forgery, is the most commonly used way of manipulating digital images and so has become extensively used topic of research in digital image forensics.
The copy-move forgery can largely be classified into: Block based and Key point based technology. The block based uses similar kind of frameworks but take exception in applying feature extractions. The technique is worthy of detecting the forged regions with high accuracy in an image but is dreadfully complex. The essence is intended to reform the block-based approach. The keypoints based video image forgery detection schemes use, unmasking the inhabitant features by employing the algorithms like SURF and SIFT.
