Selection Model for Environmental Friendly Materials using Sem-Pls and Value Engineering in Office Building

Abstract

Based on a survey, Indonesia and the city of Jakarta have not shown good environmental performance and quality of life. So it is necessary to improve environmental quality through the construction of environmentallysoundinfrastructureandfacilitiesintheformofvarioustypesofbuildings.Theplanning of a building is generally calculated by paying attention to coststandards.

Research method is needed to analyze by Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square(SEM-PLS) method which is analyzed using Smart Pls software to analyze the factors that affect quality, cost and time. Value Engineering (VE) can be used to analyze the required functions at the lowest possible cost for construction work in office building casestudy.

It is hoped that it can provide solutions to the problem of providing buildings with an environmentally friendly concept with technical considerations and efficient costs.
